Belts awarded

PESHAWAR, July 7: Shaheen Academy of Judo and Karate Serai Naurang, Lakki Marwat district awarded belts to karatekas in a ceremony on Friday on completion of 12-week training and coaching classes.

The ceremony was held under the aegis of Lakki Marwat District Karate Association.

Chief instructor Irfan Nayyab awarded yellow, orange, green, blue and black belts to the players.

The karatekas who were promoted to next grade demonstrated individual kata, group kata and individual and team fights.

Farooq Azam Khan, Mohammad Rehmat and Noor Khan were declared outstanding players in the yellow belt class while Arshadullah and Inamullah were awarded special prizes in the orange belt grade.

Certificated were also distributed among the players at the end of the ceremony.—APP
