KARACHI: The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant (SIUT) Board of Trust has inducted renowned banker and philanthropist Sultan Ali Allana as a trustee.

Mr Allana is widely regarded as one of country’s most distinguished financial leaders. He currently serves as the chairman of Habib Bank Limited and is a Director of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED).

“His leadership, experience and commitment to public service are expected to further strengthen the work of the SIUT Trust and support its long-term vision of expanding access to high quality healthcare for all,” said a SIUT press release issued here on Thursday.

Welcoming Mr Allana to the Board, the SIUT Trust expressed confidence that his guidance and insight will contribute meaningfully to the institution’s continued growth and its mission of providing free, state of the art healthcare, education and research without discrimination and regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
