LANDI KOTAL, July 7: The Frontier Constabulary and the Khasadar force dynamited four shops of a tribesman in the Bara bazaar on Friday following demolition of a house by activists of the Lashkar-i-Islam in the Shalobar area.

The four shops belonged to Jan Mast of the Sepah tribe, who had led the Lashkar activists to demolish the house in Shalobar.

LOAD-SHEDDING: Tribesmen blocked the Peshawar-Torkham road at three different places on Friday in protest against the prolonged power load-shedding in the area.

A group of people blocked the road near the Teddy bazaar in Landi Kotal for one hour. In the Surkamar area, women blocked the road and chanted slogans against Wapda.—Correspondent
