JACOBABAD, July 7: Police forced two motorbike-snatchers to run for their life leaving behind a two-wheeler they had snatched half an hour earlier from a student at gunpoint in Dastagir Colony on Thursday.
When police received information two armed robbers had snatched a motorcycle from Abdul Bari Rind, DPO Munir Ahmed Khuhro ordered a cordon thrown around the area and followed the robbers with a heavy police contingent. Police caught up with the two robbers near Ali Mohammad Brohi village.
A brief encounter ensued after which they left the motorcycle behind and fled.—BoC
