LAHORE: A much-needed echocardiography machine has been installed at the pulmonology department of the Lahore General Hospital (LGH).

LGH Medical Superintendent (MS) Prof Dr Faryad Hussain says that donated by some philanthropists, the machine will significantly enhance the timely and accurate diagnosis of heart and respiratory diseases for both adult and child patients.

Amiruddin Medical College Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal said the installation of this new machine will not only provide prompt diagnostic services to patients, but also improve the training standards for postgraduate trainees and young doctors.
