WASHINGTON, July 7: US employers created 121,000 new jobs in June, the Labour Department said on Friday, in a sign of cooling economic conditions.

Wall Street economists had expected 175,000 new positions in the monthly report on nonfarm payrolls, seen as one of the best indicators of US economic momentum.—AFP
