KARACHI, July 6: Five ships carrying, sugar, yellow peas and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, China Star, Satha Bum, Sinar Bontang, Y.M. Energy and Hyudani Advance to unload and load containers and Nil to offload coal were berthed.

Four ships, China Star, APL Jeddah, Iran Sattari departed on Thursday, while Satha Bum, Y.M. Energy, Emerald Sea, Alycia, Chi Feng Kou, Antonis, Nicolas-S and Corin Thaikos are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage handled rose to 96,361 tons comprising 14,080 tons of export cargo and 82,281 tons of import cargo including 4,698 tons of sugar.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sibi, with 14,500 tons of sugar, Barra, with 36,000 tons of yellow peas, Sea Rose, with general cargo and Calvin P.Titus, with containers.
