Strong parents

CHILDHOOD plays a crucial role in shaping a person’s future. In their early years, children absorb behaviours, emotions and values directly from their parents, forming mental representation to guide their later lives. During this sensitive stage, they need balanced love, care and emotional warmth that is often found in the comfort of a parent’s presence.

Modern research also highlights that positive environments strengthen cognitive abilities, emotional regulation and social skills, while prolonged stress can hinder healthy growth. This makes it even more essential for families to create safe, supportive spaces where children feel secure, heard and valued. Even when parents try to hide their struggles, children can sense their emotional state. Unspoken stress and pain subtly influence a child’s development. As children enter adole-scence, they experience rapid physical and emotional changes and naturally seek understanding about themselves and the world.

When open communication is missing at home, children often turn to external sources, sometimes receiving misleading or harmful information. This lack of clarity can lead to confusion, emotional isolation and unhealthy coping behaviours.

As such, responsible parenting begins even before marriage. Individuals must first achieve emotional stability. This would help nurture children effectively, ensuring healthier future generations.
