ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued a consolidated compendium of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure greater efficiency, transparency, and uniformity in judicial and administrative functions.

The compendium brings together SOPs, office orders, and policy guidelines across case management, public facilitation, internal governance, protocols, and infrastructure and operational management.

It standardises key processes, including case fixation, timelines for case processing, digitisation and e-filing, early hearing mechanisms, and handling of jail petitions, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing delays. The compendium also strengthens litigant facilitation and grievance redressal mechanisms.
