ISLAMABAD, July 2: A leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League from Balochistan, Mir Shahjahan Khetran, has said that some people in the government were involved in activities that are undermining the law and order in the province.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Mr Khetran said he had provided names of those people to the government.

“These people double-cross the government. On one hand they commit terrorist activities in the province, on the other they issue statements affirming their loyalty to the government,” he said.

He called upon the PML leadership to take action against the anti-state elements and expel them from the party.

Mr Khetran complained that the ruling party had been neglecting sincere people and warned that this attitude could affect the party’s vote bank in next elections.—Correspondent
