LAHORE, July 1: An eight-member Pakistan junior badminton squad left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to participate in the Asian under-19 championship to be held from July 3 to 9.
The squad comprises two officials, three boys and as many girls.
Pakistan Badminton Federation secretary Aamir Hayat Khan Rokhari said four junior players of the squad including boys and girls would also be picked for the national training camp which was in progress at Islamabad for the 10th South Asian Games to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from Aug 15 to 28.
He said the federation was determined to provide maximum facilities to the junior and soon more new talented players would emerge.
Squad:
Boys: Ali Mehdi, Murad Ali, Zaran Ghazali.
Girls: Sara Khan, Palwasha Basheer, Mahrukh Isa.
