Pakistan's US envoy discusses regional situation with Congressman Brian Mast

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has met with the chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, Brian Mast.

“Had a broad-based and productive exchange of perspectives on the evolving regional and global situation,” Sheikh wrote on X, adding that he thanked Mast for acknowledging “Pakistan’s key role in facilitating peace in the Middle East and beyond”.

Sheikh reaffirmed Pakistan’s “steadfast commitment to promoting conflict resolution through dialogue and constructive engagement” and discussed “avenues of augmenting the historically consequential Pak–US partnership and cooperation in the evolving global landscape”.
