LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), July 1: A young man was killed allegedly by his elder brother in Nala Malikdin Khel area of Bara on Saturday.

Identified as Shenai, the man was accused by his elder brother Zafarullah of keeping bad company.

On Saturday, the two quarrelled over the issue. During the ensuing scuffle, Zafarullah opened fire at Shenai, killing him on the spot.

ARRESTED: At least 10 criminals, including the alleged killers of a lawyer, were arrested in raids conducted by the Khasadar force in collaboration with Mehsood Scouts in the Akakhel area on Friday.

When security forces raided the hideouts of outlaws, they opened fire. The raiding party returned the fire resulting in surrender by the outlaws.

Those arrested included Islam Badshah, Umar Khitab, Abu Bakar, Wajid, Najeeb, Abdul Malik, Gulzada, Gohar Shah and Yasin.

Gohar Shah and Yasin are wanted to the Peshawar police for their alleged involvement in the murder case of Barrister Amin Khattak and his brother.

Islam Badshah confessed his involvement in the kidnapping of three minors, Suhail, Sanaullah and Sahir.

The ringleader of outlaws informed authorities that the hostages had been shifted to Tirah.

The security forces also seized a car from the house of the outlaws.

KIDNAPPED: Unidentified armed men riding two vehicles on Friday kidnapped Rambel Khan, an aged activist of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, from Akakhel.

The JUI, Khyber Agency chapter, expressed concern over the incident and demanded immediate recovery of Rambel Khan.
