DHAKA, July 1: Bangladesh’s security agencies killed one person every day on an average during the last six months. In addition, one person was killed every day in political violence over the same period.

This was revealed in a survey conducted by Odhikar, a Dhaka-based human rights group, which released its findings on Saturday.

A total of 166 people were killed by security personnel between Jan 1 and June 30, the survey revealed, adding that another 160 people were killed in political clashes over the same period.
