KARACHI: The national selection committee on Sunday named a 15-member squad for the home ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe women’s teams being held in Karachi next month.
The three-match ODI series will be staged at the National Bank Stadium from May 4 to 9.
The ODI series will be followed by a three-game T20 International rubber for which the Pakistan squad will be announced in due course.
Fatima Sana will continue to lead the ODI side in the said series — which is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29. The matches will be held on May 4, 6 and 9. Currently, Pakistan are placed fifth in the ICC Women’s Championship with two points after featuring in an away ODI series against South Africa earlier this year.
Uncapped Momina Riasat is also included in the ODI squad.
Zimbabwe women’s squad, which will embark on their maiden tour of Pakistan for the series, will arrive in Karachi on Wednesday. Both the squads will attend training sessions at the National Bank Stadium from April 30 to May 3.
The T20 series will follow at the same venue on May 12, 14 and 15.
