COLOMBO, Jun 30 Reigning champion Jin Long of China and Issara Kachiawong of Thailand got off to a rollicking start on the opening day of 22nd Asian Championship with superb century breaks on Friday.

Top seed Jin Long began with a well compiled break of 102 in beating Taiwan’s Tung Ilsin in four straight frame.

Fourth seed Kachiawong smashed a break of 107 in the opening and 99 in the fourth frame while crushing Korean Wan-Su Lee 4-0.

Thai showed superb cue control and smartly dipped the multicolored balls.

Two Indians, former World Champion Pankaj Advani and Manan Chandra also started in great fashion by whipping their respective rivals.

Delhi-based Manan dropped the penultimate frame before chalking a comfortable 4-0 win.
