Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Chinese Envoy to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, in a meeting, discussed the situation in the Middle East, including Pakistan’s peace efforts, the Prime Minister’s Office says.
In a statement, PMO said that during the meeting, “the regional situation in the Middle East and Pakistan’s peace efforts also came under discussion”.
It said that the Chinese ambassador “expressed China’s appreciation of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for lasting peace in the region”.
