KARACHI, June 30: Acknowledging lack of basic facilities at majority of public schools in the province, Sindh Education and Literacy Minister Dr Hamida Khuhro has emphasised upon electronic media to promote the latest methods of teaching which could lead children to acquire quality education.

She was speaking at the launching ceremony of modern teaching system by a private sector organisation, the Vision International, here at a local hotel on Thursday.

She urged electronic media to allocate some of their time for distant learning as teaching lessons could be conveyed to a large number of children through TV channels.

She said that the provincial government was endeavouring to provide quality education to each and every children and water, electricity and computers at schools. —PPI
