
LAHORE: A fire broke out in the materials stored at a paint factory in the Hanjarwal area on Monday, prompting an immediate response from rescue teams.
According to initial reports, the fire erupted in paint-related materials, while the exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
Officials say the presence of chemicals significantly intensified the fire, posing additional challenges to the rescue operation.
Rescue 1122 teams, on being informed of the blaze, rushed to the scene and remained actively engaged in efforts to bring the it under control.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ijaz also visited the site to check the ongoing firefighting operation. The DC says that the foremost priority is to extinguish the fire, adding that all necessary resources had been deployed at the scene.
The district administration expresses confidence that the fire will be brought under control soon, assuring that all precautionary steps have been taken to handle the situation effectively.
