Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has received a phone call from Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi in which they discussed developments in the region, Al Jazeera reports.
Both leaders stressed the need for mediation efforts between Iran and the US to continue in a way that leads to a sustainable agreement that prevents new conflicts, a statement from the Qatari government says.
