Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik said that the next time US and Iranian delegations visit Pakistan, there would be no further negotiations but the signing of a deal.
Speaking to Dawn News, he said, “It is a very sensitive situation between two countries, Iran and the US, and Pakistan’s role has been that of a mediator.
“I don’t think the leaders from other countries would be coming to Islamabad, because the main issue involves these two parties,” he said.
“In the next meeting between Iran and the US in Islamabad, there will be no further negotiations; that will define that everything is final and ready to be signed,” he said.
“Whenever that happens, that would be a very significant event for Pakistan, Pakistanis, and the whole world,” he said.
