China has welcomed the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire and expressed hope that the parties will “maintain momentum” of the ceasefire.
In a post on X, the Chinese foreign ministry’s spokesperson said, “China welcomes all efforts conducive to ending the conflict.
“Hope parties will maintain the momentum of ceasefire and negotiation and resolve disputes through political and diplomatic means, which is the responsible thing to do”.
