HYDERABAD: Two awarded death sentence

HYDERABAD, Oct 17: Anti- Terrorism Court Judge Hyderabad Abdul Ghafoor Memon has awarded death sentence for four times and fine of Rs1,030,000 to two convicted in a murder case here on Wednesday.

The convicted were Mohammad Saeed and Ali Mohammad.

The case was lodged at Sanghar police station after a banker Ghulam Rasool Mansori was shot dead by the convicted.

They tried to snatch motorcycle from Ghulam Rasool who was riding it with his brother Ghulam Nabi. The bandits fired on them and killed Ghulam Rasool. Police arrested both.

Under sections 302 and 34 PPC the convicted were awarded death sentence each and Rs200,000 fine to be paid to the heirs of the deceased.

They were again awarded capital punishment under sections 7-A of Anti Terrorism Act and 34 PPC and Rs200,000 fine to be paid to the heirs of the deceased.
