The US president has told the Fox News broadcaster that the war on Iran could end soon, Al Jazeera reports.
“I think it’s close to over, yeah,” he said in a clip of the interview aired by the US broadcaster. “I mean I view it as very close to over.”
He added, “We’ll see what happens. I think they want to make a deal very badly.”
He again told Fox News that if he had not waged war on Iran, the country would have a nuclear weapon by now.
