Shipping monitor Kpler reports that commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz remains “well below typical levels” as only six vessels crossed on Monday, down from 14 vessels that passed through the waterway the day before.
“While a ceasefire and the US naval blockade are now in place, flows had already slowed significantly as operators avoided transits amid security concerns,” Kpler says.
