Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Emaeil Baghaei says that the “unprecedented solidarity” shown by Muslim nations in support of Iran during the US-Israeli war is “deeply appreciated”.

In a statement posted on X, he says, “The unprecedented solidarity shown by Muslim nations and conscientious, justice-seeking people across the region and around the world in support of the heroic resistance of the Iranian nation against brutal US-Israeli aggression is deeply appreciated.”

He further says that Iranians will “forever remember” the millions of demonstrators who took to the streets and public squares in countries including Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Turkiye, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India.

Baghaei says they were “expressing their solidarity and support for Iran’s epic defence against the illegal US-Israeli war on the Iranian nation and its great civilisation”.
