Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni says the country will not be affected by the US blockade on the Strait of Hormuz because it has more than 8,000 kilometres of land and sea borders, Al Jazeera reports.
Momeni has instructed officials in Iran’s border provinces to facilitate the import of essential goods to “neutralise the threat” of the naval blockade, according to a statement.
