On JD Vance saying that no agreement has been reached yet, Michael Kugelman, a Washington-based scholar of South Asian affairs, said “Unclear what’s next, but Vance — who seemed quite unhappy — did speak about leaving.”
He noted that Vance “said the Iranians wouldn’t agree to the US’s terms, though he praised Pakistan for trying to help get Tehran’s buy-in”.
