At least 14 rocket alerts have been sounded in communities near Israel’s northern border with Lebanon as Israeli forces attack Lebanon despite the US-Iran ceasefire, reports AFP.
AFP footage from the border area showed long rocket trails in the sky and plumes of smoke signalling interceptions.
Since midnight, at least 14 rounds of sirens warning of incoming rocket fire have sounded in northern Israel. In the city of Kiryat Shmona alone, there have been at least six alerts.
