BADIN, June 27: Taluka Nazim Hashim Jamali and Naib Nazim Karim Dino Nohrio have condemned the attitude of District Nazim Ali Anwar Halepoto. They accused the nazim of ignoring the district headquarter with regard to development schemes and other civic amenities.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club along with 14 other councillors here on Tuesday, they said that not a single development scheme was awarded to the Badin taluka since elections.

They alleged the district nazim was awarding schemes to his own constituency only.

They accused the district nazim of intentionally neglecting the Badin taluka.

They said that the district nazim was least interested in solving problems of the people and was using his bureaucratic mind to rule over the district.

They alleged that the district nazim had granted 26 electricity schemes for his own constituency of UC Halepoto and remaining few schemes were also given to his supporters.

They said that Badin taluka was also deprived of sugar cess fund which was its due right.

TheY said that corruption in institutions had been rampant mainly in the revenue department during the second term of the devolution.

He said that when the taluka nazim wanted to take action against corrupt officials, the district nazim intervened and stopped the action.
