Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have vowed to avenge the death of their intelligence chief, Major General Majid Khademi, assassinated earlier in the day in an Israeli strike, AFP reports.
“The malicious and desperate enemy should know that a major retaliatory strike by the IRGC Intelligence Organisation, under Operation ‘Crushing Revenge,’ awaits the planners and perpetrators of this crime,” Khademi’s agency has in a statement on the Guards’ official site Sepah News.
