Strait of Hormuz will not be stable if Middle East war continues, China’s foreign minister warns

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi warns that the issue of passage through the Strait of Hormuz is a spillover effect of the Iran war, and the strait will not be stable as long as the fighting continues, Reuters reports citing a state news agency.

He has made the remarks during a call with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, in which he has also called for an early ceasefire.
