Iran’s supreme leader offers condolences over assassination of Revolutionary Guards navy commander

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has offered condolences on the death of Revolutionary Guards Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri.
In a post on X, he said, “I offer my congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the courageous commander Tangsiri to his esteemed family and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“I pray Almighty God will raise this martyr to the highest ranks [in the Hereafter]”.
