Iraq’s Mohamad Alaa air base, located beside Baghdad International Airport, was hit by rockets earlier today, destroying an aircraft but causing no casualties, the country’s Defence Ministry has said according to Al Jazeera.
The ministry added that authorities are assessing the damage and tracking the source of the attack.
