The Israel Broadcasting Authority is reporting that Iran launched three missiles at southern Israel, Al Jazeera reports.
The report said that two missiles were intercepted while a third fell in an open area. In a separate report, Israeli radio said that sirens sounded across Israel 40 times in the past 24 hours.
Channel 12 said air defences intercepted missiles in southern Israel. No injuries were reported.
