MALAKAND, June 25: Hundreds of trees were burnt when a fire broke out in the Qaldarra hills near Dargai in Malakand Agency on Saturday afternoon.

The fire spread to Anna Tangi and Shinkai Tangi within 24 hours.

A fire had also erupted in the Jabban Dubandai hills about a week ago.

According to social workers of the area, timber mafia had set the trees on fire.
