UAE says air defences responding to Iran missile, drone attack

The United Arab Emirates says its air defences are responding to an incoming missile and drone attack from Iran, as Tehran presses strikes in the Gulf, AFP reports.

A defence ministry statement said forces were “intercepting cruise missiles and UAVs (drones)” fired from Iran.
