The Israeli military has claimed it struck Iran’s Arak heavy-water plant, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement on Telegram, the army has said the plant had been damaged during the June war, but since then, Iran had allegedly attempted its reconstruction following damage sustained in the attack.
Heavy water is a unique material that can be used in the production of nuclear power and weapons.
