Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has had a phone call with his Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev, and discussed the war, Al Jazeera reports citing Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
Kosherbayev has expressed concern about the current situation, urging an end to the war, and said his country is ready to play a role in helping to restore stability and security to the region.
Araghchi, for his part, has said that “The action of the Zionist (Israeli) regime and the United States in targeting the Anzali port has severely endangered security and stability in the Caspian Sea, and it is necessary for the littoral states to have a unified and decisive reaction against this criminal and destabilising act”.
