French energy giant TotalEnergies has evacuated about 1,300 employees from across the Middle East amid the Israeli-US war on Iran, Al Jazeera reports.
Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanne says staff have been withdrawn from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
He adds that only a limited number of local employees and contractors remain in place to maintain essential operations.
