TOBA TEK SINGH: An alleged drug dealer was killed in an encounter with a Pirmahal Crime Control Department CCD team on Wednesday.

A CCD official claimed that two suspects on a motorcycle were signalled to stop on a link road in Pirmahal by a CCD patrolling team, but they opened fire on the policemen, which was retaliated.

The official claimed that when the firing stopped, police found one suspect dead while his accomplice had managed to escape. The deceased was killed by the firing of his accomplice, the official claimed.

Deceased was identified as Malik Sabir Ali alias Doraymor of Gojra, who was involved in nine narcotic cases.

Meanwhile, Faisalabad Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ijaz Raza sentenced drug dealer Muhammad Amir to 14 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs400,000 on Wednesday in one case and 12 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs300,000 in another case.

The Mureedwala Police had recovered a large quantity of drugs from the possession of the convict in 2025.
