QUETTA, June 24: Nationalist leader Nawabzada Balach Khan Marri has said that the government’s offer to hold talks with the Baloch leaders indicated its failure in handling the Balochistan situation.

Talking to reporters over satellite phone from Kohlu on Saturday, he said that helicopter gunships and jet fighters had been bombing for two days various areas inhabited by the Marri tribes.

He said that a shepherd had been injured and a large number of cattleheads had been killed in the attack. Mr Marri alleged that security forces were committing human rights violation in the Kohlu district.
