Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the world cannot allow Israel’s “uncompromising, maximalist, radical stance to sabotage the paths to diplomatic solutions” to the ongoing Middle East war.

“War, while being Israel’s war, is being paid for by the entire world,” Erdogan has said during an address.

“The network of murderers headed by [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu must be stopped immediately in the name of regional peace and humanity, and every country should take a courageous and proactive stance on this issue.”

He has also stressed that the “door to dialogue must be opened, and a result-oriented negotiation process must be launched swiftly”.
