Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has emphasised “dialogue and diplomacy” in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Office (FO) says.
In a statement, the FO said, “Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation this evening with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi.”
“They discussed recent regional developments. DPM Dar emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to promote peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond,” it added.
It further said that both sides agreed to remain in close contact on the evolving situation.
