KARACHI, June 22: Five vessels carrying palm oil, containers and to load naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Conqueror, to offload fertiliser, Iran Tabatabaei, Hyundai Sprinter, Inaba, Y.M. Fortune and Kota Tampan to unload and load containers were berthed.
Five ships, MOL Accord, Thor Captain, APL Jabel Ali, Rizcun Trader and Regine departed on Thursday, while Warbah, Inaba, Maria T.L, Swat, Banglar Urmi, Oel Aishwarya, Multan, Kota Wangsa, Kota Tampan and Mol Kauri are due to sail out on Friday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.171m tons comprising 41,140 tons of export cargo and 0.130m tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due on Friday: Hartati, with 2,000 tons of palm oil, Peresveerance, to load 50,000 tons of naphtha, Serife to offload coal, Galvanic and Kang Yu, with steel cargo.
