LAHORE, June 21: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Muhammad Ijaz has directed computerisation of revenue record of the district. Presiding over a meeting here on Wednesday, he also formed a five-man committee to oversee computerisation process, ensuring verbatim transfer of the original record to computer.
The committee comprised DO (revenue) Mudassar Waheed Malik, project manager Rubab Aslam, DDO Liaquat Ali Khaleeq, record in charge Irfan Khalid and chief operating officer Fawad Qureshi.
FOOD: The food squad of the City District Government Lahore raided Heaven Food Industry on Wandala Road, Shahdara, and seized thousands of substandard mineral water bottles.
Fahim Akhtar, the owner of the unit, was running the business without any license while the water as well as the material used for packing was not of food grade quality. Fahim and his employee Fiaz Beg were arrested while more than 7,000 bottles of water were also seized.
