KARACHI, June 18: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday announced that a judicial inquiry would be conducted into the killing of journalist Hayatullah Khan and a compensation of Rs500,000 would be paid to the bereaved family.

“We have taken the decision for holding of judicial inquiry last evening,” the prime minister said while addressing the concluding session of a three-day South Asian Electronic Media Workshop. He announced that the government would bear education expenses of the children of the late Hayatullah.—APP
