LAHORE, June 18: A windstorm that was followed by drizzle took place in the city on Sunday evening. According to the meteorological office, the storm having a velocity of 61.2km an hour was generated by a low pressure over Balochistan and adjoining areas.

The city’s maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum 23 degrees C with 55 per cent humidity in the morning and 33 per cent in the evening.

The Met office forecast scattered thunderstorm and rain for many other cities in the province during the next 24 hours.
