KARACHI: The board of directors of Sui Sout­hern Gas Company has appointed Muhammad Amin Rajput as the utility’s managing director and chief executive officer for a period of three years.

Earlier on Feb 13, Mr Raj­p­ut, who was serving as chief financial officer and chief int­e­r­nal auditor, was appoin­ted interim managing director on a contract basis as he reached the age of superannuation and retire from the company’s permanent service.

Mr Rajput is an accomplis­hed professional with over 30 years of diversified experience in the areas of finance, audit and management in the oil and gas, ene­rgy, manufacturing and aut­o­mobile sectors. Before joi­n­ing SSGC, he ser­ved with K-Electric as its chief internal auditor.
