Concluding his press conference, the information minister said Afghan Taliban had “nothing to do with Islam. They don’t believe in peace”.
He summarised what he had earlier stated, saying that the “Afghan Taliban regime is an illegitimate system of government; it is based on a wrong interpretation of religion, an interpretation that suits them (Afghan Taliban) and has nothing to do with the basic principles of religion, Islam; and it is a system of oppression”.
